Cosmetic Acupuncture

What is cosmetic acupuncture?
Cosmetic acupuncture is the practice of utilizing facial nerves to stimulate proper circulation within the body. This produces visible “anti-aging” effects such as increased plasticity, reduced wrinkles, a lifted appearance, and a glowing complexion.

Who is it for?
Anyone can benefit from cosmetic acupuncture.
Your skin is the largest visible organ and reflects the condition of your overall health. Poor complexion, wrinkles, and acne are indications of nutritional deficiencies, or the body’s inability to properly self-regulate itself. Anyone with these symptoms can benefit from cosmetic acupuncture.

Why our practice?
We use special thin, light needles imported from Japan to increase
precision and efficiency, and reduce bruising on delicate skin like the face.

Our needles are specially imported from Japan which allow us to take advantage of its specific characteristics. These needles are thinner and lighter than what is normally used by most cosmetic acupuncturists. The fine point of these needles reduces bruising and are more effective on delicate features of one’s face.

We use 7 types of needles of varying thickness and length
to deal with all of the different types of skin tissue to allow for optimal results.

The human face has a variety of skin tissue compositions. So, we use seven types of needles of varying thickness and length to accommodate for these different textures, giving the most efficient approach in how your skin will turn out!
Dr. Park uses his medical knowledge to approach cosmetic acupuncture as a tool to stimulate nerves which regulates neuro-hormonal pathways, alleviate inflammation, and contribute to overall balance and wellness.

What should I expect during treatment?
For the most effective and long-lasting results,
we recommend scheduling at least 10 sessions over the course of 5-10 weeks.

During this time, you should expect to see a gradual change in complexion that will leave you feeling and looking youthful!
